Warranty Policy

1. Purpose

This Limited Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage, claim procedures, and responsibilities applicable to KPower Lithium products. It is intended to provide dealers, distributors, OEM partners, installers, and end users with a clear understanding of how warranty claims are evaluated and resolved.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to KPower Lithium products purchased through authorized dealers, distributors, OEM partners, or directly from KPower Lithium.

Warranty coverage applies only to products that:

  • Were purchased through an authorized sales channel.
  • Are used under normal operating conditions.
  • Have been installed according to KPower Lithium guidelines.
  • Have not been modified without written authorization.
  • Remain within the applicable warranty period.

3. Limited Warranty Coverage

KPower Lithium warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period under normal use and service.

If a product is determined by KPower Lithium to contain a manufacturing defect covered under this Policy, KPower Lithium may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model;
  • Provide a refurbished replacement of comparable performance;
  • Issue a credit where repair or replacement is not practical.

Warranty remedies are limited to the options described above.

4. Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty consideration, customers may be required to provide:

  • Proof of purchase.
  • Invoice or order number.
  • Product serial number.
  • Purchase date.
  • Dealer information.
  • Description of the reported issue.
  • Installation information.

Products with removed, altered, illegible, or missing serial numbers may not qualify for warranty coverage.

5. Submitting a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims must be submitted through the official KPower Lithium Support Portal or another support channel designated by KPower Lithium.

Each submission should include:

  • Invoice or order number.
  • Product serial number.
  • Clear description of the issue.
  • Installation photographs where requested.
  • Bluetooth application screenshots where available.
  • Physical voltage test results if Bluetooth communication is unavailable.
  • Any additional documentation requested by the Technical Support Team.

Complete submissions help reduce review times and unnecessary product returns, consistent with the workflow described in the KPower RMA Submission Guide.

6. Technical Review

Before authorizing a return, KPower Lithium Technical Support may conduct a remote diagnostic review.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Battery serial number.
  • State of Charge (SOC).
  • Voltage readings.
  • Current readings.
  • Bluetooth diagnostic information.
  • Battery Management System (BMS) status.
  • Error or warning codes.
  • Installation photographs.
  • Charger specifications.
  • Wiring configuration.
  • Additional troubleshooting information.

Technical troubleshooting may resolve the issue without requiring the battery to be returned.

7. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

If a return is required, KPower Lithium will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number together with return instructions.

Products returned without an approved RMA number may be refused and returned to the sender.

In certain cases, KPower Lithium may approve a warranty claim without requiring the product to be physically returned. In such situations, an RMA or warranty authorization number may still be issued for documentation and dealer credit purposes, consistent with your current process.

8. Product Return Requirements

When returning a product under an approved RMA:

  • The RMA number must be clearly marked on the package.
  • Products should be packaged securely to prevent shipping damage.
  • All requested documentation must accompany the shipment.
  • Products should be returned within the timeframe provided in the RMA instructions.

Failure to comply with return instructions may delay claim processing.

9. Inspection and Warranty Determination

Upon receipt, returned products may undergo inspection and testing by KPower Lithium.

The inspection may include:

  • Verification of the reported issue.
  • Functional testing.
  • Electrical testing.
  • Internal diagnostics.
  • Physical condition assessment.
  • Review of warranty eligibility.
  • Review of installation evidence.
  • Verification of serial numbers.

Following inspection, KPower Lithium will determine whether the claim qualifies for warranty coverage.

10. Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failures resulting from:

  • Improper installation.

  • Shipping costs associated with non-warranty claims, customer error, or "no fault found" evaluations may remain the responsibility of the customer or dealer.

12. Warranty Limitations
